I also want to adopt out a few fanlistings, since I got the most amazing approvals lately. I'm not too optimistic about, cause I obviously have a weird taste and nobody really wants my fanlistings. :-D But I'll try.
I might even close a few, if I have the heart to do so. Let's see...

While I'm here, I finished my Noel Fielding fanlisting, simply to make the deadline. I only have my shitty laptop here with me and so I couldn't make the rocking layout I wanted to make for adorable Noelio, but I will do that as soon as I get home. I have millions of ideas in mind for that fanlisting...

The fanlisting for beautiful, sexy, quirky, rocking Noel Fielding is now mine! I stared at the screen for a couple of minutes in disbelief and then just started to giggle like a little schoolgirl.
This is so amazing! Can't wait to build it! I wanna do several layouts for it, cause there are just to many great photoshots of Noel and I couldn't decide really.

My heart just stopped for a sec when I saw that and I gave the application a bit time. I tried to explain what Noel means to me and I even made a little artpiece to include in my application.

I have no idea how good my chances are to get the FL, but I know he has quite a lot fans out there, so I certainly won't be the only one applying for him. I don't wanna get my hopes up to high, but if I will be rejected I will be crushed big time. I was rejected before for important fanlistings, but Noel will be hardest thing I guess. If I will get it, I will of course be off my tits with happyness. :-)

So, fingers crossed for that application. :-)

Also I could lay hands on two concert tickets to see Kasabian in february in Strasbourg. Since they are my fav band at the moment I'm more than excited to see them live.

Last but certainly not least I have lovely Boosh news. I'm still a bit crushed for being rejected for the Mighty Boosh fanlisting, but a bigger, better and booshier fansite will be on its way very soon. With a dear friend I met over twitter, who is as crazy about The Boosh as I am, I'll be building a fansite and we're planning on doing it the proper way. Might be alot of work that lies ahead of us, but I'm so looking forward to it.

A while ago I applied for my three fav bands at the moment, which are The Horrors, Kasabian and Robots in disguise. None of these amazing bands had a fanlisting, so I wanted them all... muhahahaha. No seriously. Obviously I have a freakish taste in music, if nobody wanted to build a fanlisting for there great bands.
Today came the approvals for all three bands and I'm a happy girl. The fanlisting for The Horrors is almost finished anyways, because I just couldn't wait to make a layout for it.

And I'm still waiting to hear back from Sarah about the Howince FL adoption. The layout's ready for two weeks now and honestly I'm starting to worry why she isn't responding to my emails. I guess I'll wait one or two weeks before I contact her again. Hmmm :-(

On the other side Sarah was so kind, to hand me over the Howard and Vince relationship FL. At least a bit Booshy goodness for me.
I'm just waiting to hear back from her, that he has sent in the moved form.

Besides that I had a very calm and gentle start into 2010, from which I hope is gonna be a good year for me. I'm quite sure it's gonna be a good one, but an expensive one. I'm definitely going to Thailand in April and one of my New Year's Resolutions is to visit London finally, since I have more and more the feeling I have my heart lost to this city. Besides that I'm gonna get my first Tattoo in 2010 an it's gonna be a pretty big thing. A big and expensive thing, but definitely a work of true art branded forever into the skin of my back. So looking forward to it...

The Mighty Boosh fanlisting is up for adoption and I almost had an accident when I was reading that. Just couldn't believe it. I'm such a huge fan of this show and that FL would be so much fun to build and keep up. I tried to come up with a really really really good application, but I dunno... I just babbled, probably sounding like a manic fangirl (which I am to a certain degree *lol*). I didn't dare to read my application again after I sent it. I was afraid it would sound so rubbish to me, I would write another one and starting to be a pain in the arse for the person who put it up for adoption. So, I'm just waiting and hoping...

I also applied for two bands that surprisingly to me had no fanlisting: The Horrors and Kasabian. Two of my favorite bands of the last months. I listen to them practically all the time and it's about time they get a FL.

I finally made a new layout for my collective, first of all because I couldn't stand the old one anymore, but mainly, because I have a new Über-Obession for quite a while now and that obsession being lovely and amazing Mr. Noel Fielding.
I always had a thing for british men (must be something about the accent, I dunno) and Noel must be coolest guy living in the UK (probably the whole world). Just love his style, his unique and sometimes crazy way to dress and of course he is insanely talented as a comedian. The Mighty Boosh is a stroke of geniuses.

So I wanted to dedicate a collective style to this georgeous man...

Visionary - The Tim Burton fanlisting

I was struggling with the title, but then Essi came up with "Visionary". It's simple, it's strong, it fits and the name reflects my adoration for this great artist.

and these are only the FL-related projects I have in mind. There are also stagnating sites like heart-driven.net (my artwork site), that need a lot work.
And other art-related projects like tons of photographs I need to work on and making some new resources.
When I'm looking at that list, I'm quite sure that six weeks of vacation would be more appropriate to get those things done....

What am I babbling about?
Just a few minutes ago I got the message that I was approved for the Tim Burton fanlisting. A HUUUGGGEEEEEE (!) wishlister and a FL I thought I would never ever get! I'm thrilled!
Tim Burton is such a fabulous "Maerchenonkel" for me. I love his movies and they way he illustrates and presents them. His style is so unique and he is able to bring that magical touch into movies.

Thank god the Xmas Holidays are about to come and I will a have a lot free time for my webstuff. So there's gonna be an awsome layout (or probably more than one) for this very special fanlisting. I'm gonna put all my love and effort in it.

And on Saturday the one fanlisting will be open for apps, that I'm craving so much since I have started that whole fanlisting-thing: Twiggy Ramirez.
Twiggy-who? Twiggy was and is again bassist of Marilyn Manson. Since I'm a fan of the band I'm literally in love with Twiggy. He is such a cutieeee. ;-)

I almost missed it. Thank God, I saw the topic the the TFL board yesterday evening, so that coul apply for it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I still love the show and it was one of my first wishlisters.

I'm thinking of a good application for another FL that was closed just a few days ago and is now open for apps. It's for the georgous, intelligent, brilliant musician and artist Brian Warner also known as Marilyn Manson. I'm madly in love with him since I was about 17 or 18 years old. He inspired me and had such a big influence in my life.

And Kryz was so kind to hand me over the fanlisting for the TV show "The King of Queens" (screeeeeeaaaaaam!). I love that show for years and years now I'm so happy that I have the chance to give it a good home.

I also have a application for another huuuuuuuge topic running. I think I'll receive an email from TFL soon about that. If I get that one I'm definitely going to dance on my table... it's a BIG wishlister!!

Now I'm searching for appropiate layout pics for this fanlisting. This is gonna be a little hard, since I don't want any x-rated stuff, but I will find something nice for it. If all else fails I will have to draw sth. myself... *lol*

I also applied for "Nymphetamine" (Cradle of filth). It was about time, I did that. I had it in mind for a long time and at the moment I listen to this album on a daily basis...

Since I'm not working full time anymore starting from august I have more free time that I can devote to my present and future fanlistings. I'm really looking forward to that :-)
